Tranzitul lui Venus

Am auzit acum câteva zile că Venus va tranzita Soarele pe 5 spre 6 Iunie. Trebuia să fac şi eu o poză. Aveam pregătit SLR-ul, obiectivul de 300 mm, filtrul IR... Dar n-am avut cum să le folosesc. La noi, a plouat dimineaţa asta.

Mare invenţie şi Internetul ăsta, vorba lu' mamaie. Am putut să urmăresc streaming live de la Tromso. Mă rog, am prins ultima parte. Când Venus se pregătea să iasă de pe discul solar. Once in a lifetime experience, cum zicea unul din comentatori. Următorul tranzit va fi peste 105 ani. Cine se angajează să-l urmărească şi atunci?

În altă ordine de idei, ieri am dat peste un citat. N-are legatură cu tranzitul. Doar cu astrele. Şi doar ca mod de exprimare. Figurativă.

Last Sunday, I saw a team on the field play as hard as they could to win the football game. We lost. Not because of effort or desire but because of lack of leadership and trust. One's been resolved.
